BY JACOB ROMERO
The sound of birds envelop the air as wind rustles feathers
Flowers bud, enthralled with new found warm
The drip of morning dew glistens on fresh grass
Winter has come and gone
Taking with it the silver bleakness it so closely held
With fervent showers and a brighter sun
A land now utterly transformed
Colors vibrantly gleam
The grin of spring is here
